Alan Nakanishi
Alan S. Nakanishi, M.D., F.A.C.S., is one of the founders of Delta Eye. He received his medical degree from Loma Linda University in 1965 and completed his ophthalmology residency at USC Medical Center. Dr. Nakanishi served as Chief of Ophthalmology in US Army from 1969 to 1971 after which he came to Stockton to practice. He completed a fellowship in retina and vitreous at Pacific Medical Center if 1978 and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration in 1991. Dr. Nakanishi is a former California Assemblyman and currently serves as a Lodi City Councilman. He and his wife have three grown children.
